FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS- 16/11/21

Europe and U.S. Trade

  • Another quiet night ahead of us, with very little data of any consequence on the docket
  • U.K. Monetary Policy hearing
  • U.S. President Biden set to speak

We are really winding down into the end of the year now. USD and JPOY strength continue to dominate trade while everything else holds its recent ranges. The AUD/USD even shrugged of comments from the RBA Governor today saying that as it stands, Australian interest rates probably won’t rise next year.

No data tonight, so don’t expect economics to bust the ranges.

The U.K. Monetary Policy hearings probably also won’t have much impact, unless Governor Baily comes across as more hawkish than expected.

Biden is expected to speak mainly about the new Infrastructure Bill that he signed into law last night. And that again will have little impact.

Watch gold and U.S. equities for trading incentives.
